Post Shoot Reflection

1. What challenges did you encounter while trying to get the photos of your first 4 prompts?
Some challenges that I encountered while trying to take the photos were trying to find what the picture should be of. Another encounter that I had was trying to figure out what position/ direction I wanted the picture to be taken in. Lastly, the challenge that I experienced was how I wanted the focus in the picture to be.

2. What technical aspects of photography or the assignment in general (focus, framing, holding the camera, etc.) did you find yourself thinking about the most? Provide a specific example of what you did to do this correctly.
The technical aspect of photography that I was thinking about the most was the focus in the picture. I really wanted the picture to be good, so I had to make sure that the focus of the picture was good. What I did to make sure that the picture was focused was I gently held down the shutter button just enough to make the picture focus, and at the right point, I took the picture.

3. If you could do the assignment again, what would you do differently now that you know some basic rules of photography?
If i were to do this assignment again, some things that I would do different is that I would make sure that the picture that I want to take will follow all the rules of photography and that I will avoid mergers and make sure that it doesn't look like something is coming out of someone's head.

4. What things would you do the same?
Some thing that I would do the same would be focusing the picture by slightly pushing down on the shutter button but not to hard to take a picture. I would do this the same because I did that when I was trying to take a picture of a rose, and the picture was up close, so I wanted to make sure that the picture of the rose would come out clear. 

5. Finally - go back and edit your blogs with the 4 photos, tell me what rules of composition (which you just learned about) did you end up actually achieving? Did you have any?

6. Are you interested in shooting those same prompts again, why?
I am interested in shooting this prompt again because I really liked how we got to walk around and we could photograph whatever we wanted to and that was all the assignment was.

this persons blog was really well organized and it was really cute. I really liked how their photos were clear and in focus. One thing that could be improved about the photos are I would try to get one photo that is in the perspective that you want, so you don't have to upload two of the same photos.

American Soldier

A. What is the most powerful image from the pictures printed in the Denver Post over the three weeks they published images from the year of coverage? Why? I think the most powerful image was the picture on 22A because it is a picture of Ian Fisher sitting all alone looking down thinking about how this is going to be the rest of his life. The picture is just really moving because the way I interpret it sends me a strong message. B. How do the images work together to tell a story? School Uniforms, Assignment 1

School Uniforms For this topic I could possibly interview a member of the board who decided to enforce the uniforms, I could interview the principal that works at the school where the uniforms are being enforced, and I could interview a staff member/ high ranked teachers that works at the school where the uniforms are being put into place.
