100 pictures

Look at how beautiful this picture is! I picked this photo because the Earth looks so pretty in this photo. What really caught my eye was how the moon's surface kind of leads to the Earth. When I went to go explore more  about this photo, I read that this photo was taken during the first trip to orbit the moon. The first photo was snapped in black and white but the astronauts eventually  found some colored film and took this picture. This photo was the first ever COLORED picture of the Earth. From the video that was linked below, I learned that during this mission, America was at war and this was a hard year for America because MLK died in that year and so did JFK. William Anders took this photo in 1968. William was born on the 17th of August in the year 1933 in Hong Kong. Anders is still alive. Anders did not attend any photo school because he was being trained to be an astronaut.

This is the first photo William took before he got the color film.

I really like this photo because the colors look so unreal and very science fictional. All the colors in this photo is what really caught my eye.  From what I read, I know that this photo was taken by the Hubble Space Telescope in 1995.  The image is is of the Eagle Nebula exploding that was 6,500 light years away from planet Earth. On the additional links, there were some facts saying that this is a picture of dust and gas and coming together and forming new stars.

Here is another picture taken in space by the Hubble Space telescope. The Hubble Space Telescope isn't a real person. However, Nasa has decided to stop using the Hubble Space Telescope. Hubble has served 25 years and has now retired. Hubble is no longer in use.

Here is another photo that I really liked. I really like this picture because it looks really interesting and since the space mask is dark, you can't see the face of the astronaut, but you can see the reflection of the person who is taking the photo.  What I read in the explore part of the picture is that Buzz Aldrin was happy about being a photographer on the Apollo mission because those would be the first pictures people would see of man being on the moon.

Here is a photo of Neil Armstrong that Buzz Aldrin took. Buzz Aldrin in not a photographer, he is an astronaut. Aldrin didn't go to a photography school because he was an astronaut.

I chose this photo because I knew it was a little baby but I didn't know much about was the photo was for. The photo also looked very interesting and I wanted to know more about it. What I read about this photo is that it is if an 18 week old fetus that has been aborted. The photo was edited to make it look like it was floating in the uterus. I read that Nilsson made a deal with a hospital in Stockholm that he would create a dedicated room just to take the photos.

I chose this photo because I really thought there was something on her finger and so I was intrigued by that. Reading, I found that this was the first x-ray to ever be done and the circle around her finger is a ring. This photo later received many rewards because t is known as the first x-ray. I learned that Whilhelm is actually not a photographer, he is a physicist.

Whilhelm didn't take any other pictures but here is a picture of him next to a picture of his picture.
