1. What is the origins of the word deadline? The origin of the word deadline is uncertain. The earliest definition of them is lines that don't move. It was used during the civil war for prisoners who couldn't cross a certain line.
 
2. What impact will missing today's deadline have on you? The impact that occurs if I miss today's deadlines, the assignment won't be graded and the assignment will "die."

3. Have you had issues meeting deadlines in other classes? If so, what consequences did you have for missing those deadlines? No, I have no issues with meeting  deadlines in any other classes. 

4. Do you find yourself missing deadlines on a regular basis? If so, what do you think causes you to miss deadlines? No, I do not find myself missing deadlines on a regular basis. 

5. What specifically kept you from meeting today's photo deadline? I didn't miss today's photo deadline. 

6. What do you plan to do to complete this task as quickly as possible so you can earn as much credit as you can? In order to complete an assignment as quickly as I can, I will work my hardest and do as much as I can in class and if I don't finish in class, I will work on it at home. 


1. Which of those eight suggestions do you think might help you be more efficient? I think suggestion number 1 would be the most ideal for me because I am a really organized person and I already keep a to do list. This is what helps me the most. 

2. Which of the suggestions is the toughest for you to complete? Why? The toughest suggestions for me would probably be suggestions numbers 3,6, and 7. This is because I love hanging out with my friends because it's like a mini little getaway. Number six, I can never budget my time. I'm not that person who knows what I'm doing for every single minute of my day. My day just goes as it goes. Number 7, that's the hardest one. I always have my phone with me so getting distracted by that is really easy. One moment I open my phone for the calculator, the next I'm snapchatting my friends. 
 
3. Are you a morning or night person? I'm more of a night person. 

3A. What are some of the problems you might run into because you are more productive at certain times of the day? Well, since I'm a night person, I'm more likely going to run into problems with my sleep and I'm probably going to have to do more work. 

4. How can you create a dedicated study time for yourself? I can create a dedicated study time for myself by making sure that I finish all my chores on time, do a little bit of an assignment, and then begin to study at the end so it stays in my brain. 

5. What are three direct things could you do to eliminate distractions? Three direct things I could do to eliminate distractions is:
1. Leave my phone alone (keep it away from me)
2. Work in a quiet room, no tv 
3. Keep from doing anything else but work. 


1. Are there any correlations to taking control of your homework and time management? Yes, tons of them. 

2. What is your ideal study setting and mood? My ideal study setting is a not dark but not bright kind of room that smells like whatever season we're in, a good desk and a comfortable chair.

3. What are your biggest distractions when it comes to studying? My phone is my biggest distraction when it comes to studying. 

4. What three things could you do to help with those distractions?
1. Keep it away from me
2. Put in on do not disturb
3. Only use for things I need
