No, they did not address what the other side might thing about immigration laws.

No, they were not wishy-washy about their opinion. Throughout the whole story, they made the idea clear that they did not like the way the immigration laws are set.

The writer's direct opinion on this topic is that DeVos should not be the U.S. Secretary of Education due to her under qualifications. "Many news networks have dubbed DeVos as an unfit educational leader."

Our Great Tree is Worth Saving

Yes, he did address the negative side of saving the tree because it will cost a lot of money to try and preserve the tree.

This story about the importance of students to take physics even though it is not required to take anymore.

The writer's direct opinion about this topic is that even though its is not a required class to take, students should still take it. "It may not be a required class anymore, but students should still consider it."

Yes, the writer did address the other side of this topic. In the story she says that if you want to take another science class that interests you, then take that science class.
