Look at how beautiful this picture is! I picked this photo because the Earth looks so pretty in this photo. What really caught my eye was how the moon's surface kind of leads to the Earth. When I went to go explore more  about this photo, I read that this photo was taken during the first trip to orbit the moon. The first photo was snapped in black and white but the astronauts eventually  found some colored film and took this picture. This photo was the first ever COLORED picture of the Earth. From the video that was linked below, I learned that during this mission, America was at war and this was a hard year for America because MLK died in that year and so did JFK. William Anders took this photo in 1968. William was born on the 17th of August in the year 1933 in Hong Kong. Anders is still alive. Anders did not attend any photo school because he was being trained to be an astronaut. This is the first photo William took before he got the color film.   ...
