       A selfie is a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically taken with a smartphone and shared on social media. A selfie can be taken at really fast, easy, one click and boom all done. Meanwhile, a self portrait is a portrait of a person and is produced by that person. A self portrait is usually taken with a DSLR camera, with a perfect setting, and a perfect pose. A self portrait requires a lot of thought and timing. With a self portrait, you have to use a timer and you have to make sure that nothing will mess up when taking the photo.        I think that there is a difference between a self portrait and a selfie. The difference between them is that a self portrait has to be thought out and it takes more than a couple seconds. You can always retake a picture but for a self portrait, you have to reset the camera, adjust the ISO, the shutter speed, and the aperture. I think every yearbook should have these things: 1.
