Website Review

Out of the seven websites I looked at, I chose to explore DIY Photography. The website I have chosen to explore is http://www.diyphotography.net/.  I really like this website because it gives a lot of good tips to use when you have minimal resources or when you are short on time and you need to get something done fast.  It also seems to have an overall pleasing appearance on the website. For example, the layout of the website is very neat and very easy to navigate, but some things could change. I think the intention of this website is to help make everyone a better photographer even if they don't have that much experience or money. On this website, they write about how you can build easy lights for pictures of even a good background for a picture. The steps seem easy and it looks like it doesn't take a lot of time. An average viewer can get cool tips and easy ways to turn things into cool props for photography. I really like the tips, especially since they give every detail and the easy to follow instructions. Yes, absolutely, 100%, I will add this website to my bookmarks because it is very helpful and gives amazing tips. I would recommend this website to anyone I think would be good with DIY projects and people who are just starting photography and are looking for good types. I give this website a 3//5 because I think there are something on the website that could be altered for easier use an understanding.

From exploring this website, I learned how to use gridded strip light boxes as a main light source. I chose to share this because it seemed like such a good idea! I really like how they were using their resources to the max. I think this was such a good idea because using a strip box isn't what people typically use as the lighting source. The person who was telling how to do it explained that it is better to use and seems to have a better affect on the picture. He also said that he placed 3 panels of lights next to each other and he loved the result. I also chose to share this because myself and others do take a lot of selfies, so we do need good lighting for our pictures. Now I know that no one is going to use a strip box to take selfies but it gives us an idea on how much lighting would be ideal to take a good selfie.

A. What is the most powerful image from the pictures printed in the Denver Post over the three weeks they published images from the year of coverage? Why? I think the most powerful image was the picture on 22A because it is a picture of Ian Fisher sitting all alone looking down thinking about how this is going to be the rest of his life.
